Missile Silo Condos

I wish I'd had this idea. Covered in Wired magazine and here. Larry Hall's Survival Condo homepage is here.

Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers

I've always been a fan of Steve Martin. He's a stand-up comedian, actor, playwrite, musician, and author.  His latest album Rare Bird Alert is fantastic. I love Paul McCartney's appearance on "Best Love," and "Women Like to Slow Dance" is hilarious.

American Eagle display in Times Square

I'm working on a project that will appear on this outdoor display in Times Square. This ad for Mary Poppins is one of the best examples I've found.

Update: Adweek ran this article of the Top 10 cool uses of this board.

Blinking Cereal Boxes

A company named eCoupled has introduced wireless power so flexible, it can be printed right on the packaging.

Not sure how I feel about this yet. Still processing.

Will this make landfills seem bioluminescent?

More Projection Mapping

Did an earlier post on projection mapping. Here's another great example.

Deep Ellum's Traveling Man

I love the Traveling Man sculptures in Dallas' Deep Ellum neighborhood. Designed by sculptor Brad Oldham and Brandon Oldenburg of Reel FX.

Locals and Tourists by Eric Fischer

In Eric Fischer's geotagged cities, blue points indicate photographs taken by locals, and red points are taken by tourists. Here are four of my favorite cities: Venice, New York, Chicago, and Budapest.

And here's my old home in Geneva, Switzerland. Not sure why this hasn't been tagged red, yellow or blue. Interesting that you can see Nyon at the top, and I'm guessing that's Yvoire on the other side of the lake.

The Third & The Seventh

What is amazing about this piece is that it's entirely CGI. Not one lick of film in the whole thing.

Banksy in Park City

Following up on the most recent post, seems like Banksy was just in my old backyard. There's a bunch of new graffiti that appeared in Park City, Utah during the Sundance Film Festival.
